Is this a 10? Practical- too boring?

I picked up this Gallery all weather trench on sale at Nordstroms.

Pros:
color great.
it is really a raincoat with a detachable hood and lining. (Most of my trenches are not really weatherproof or warm)

Possible cons:
is the style flattering. Is it too classic for my style?
Is Gallery a good brand? I know some of you have a different style trench in blackberry by Gallery. That style looked terrible on me.
I need this to be a 10 in order to keep it.

I think it's stunning. The color is GREAT on you and it's a very versatile and obviously the quality is great! It also seems to fill a gap in your wardrobe. I vote keep.

The colour is soooo you. Yes it's classic but it looks great on you and a truly waterproof coat that's warm is such a bonus x

You know, it's interesting. It might be boring on someone with more conservative style, but it looks smashing on you - because it's a fab contrast to your bohemian style (sorry if that's not an accurate description of your personal style). And it's not a disconnect, either - you retain enough of your own signature in hairstyle and outfit that a chic classic trench really sets it off beautifully.

Wonderful and a 10. The color keeps it from being boring and you can always make it more "you" with your scarves and boots. You might try a large paisley or patterned scarf over the coat (w/o hood) worn like a shawl.

Greenglove--fab color and elegant look!

Rosemerin--I've been impressed by the quality of Gallery outerwear, especially given the price. Construction is good, fabrics are surprisingly nice, and the fit is comfortable, so you can wear something underneath for additional warmth.
