Kristin inspired me with her death match threads. These dresses are pretty much the same with the exception of fabric and color.
Thoughts?
Also, I do have the grey Adriana Papell dress from NAS, so I'm not in desperate need of more grey.

PS: And no, your eyes are not decieving you my hair has changed once again! It's a long store that I"ll post about as soon as I get the professional photos back, but basically I won a makeover/shopping trip that benefited Goodwill's advertising campaign. This is what the stylist did with my hair and I love it. I had pro photos taken that I get copies of in a few weeks. I"ll share more then.

Hee, I'm...flattered? LOL! I obviously fall into the same trap, so I do understand.

I like the navy dress better than the grey; the neck sits on you better. That said, I'm not crazy about the belt; what does it look like if you style it differently? Maybe loose, with a long necklace? (You know...like I like to style my outfits? LOL!)

Your NAS dress is grey, isn't it? I think the grey one is too similar, but the navy isn't.

Sarah, I love your new haircut. I kept staring at your picture wondering what looked different.
I like the navy dress much better than the grey one. Although the belt on the picture with navy dress is sticking out on both sides of your body which looks a little odd. I'll second Kristen's question about the navy dress without the belt.

Do you see how good you look in Ink blue, Sarah. Good grief! (*gloating*). Better than black. One of your best colours to date. KILLER dress. Love the earthy belt, but you need to stick down the ends that are jutting out. Let’s see it beltless too.

Fab grey dress! It is 100% different to your AP dress. You can layer with it and belt it. Good for your climate. It needs white pearls.

I think that they are both gorgeous, but if you wanted to pick only one I'd choose the navy. Pretty new hair!

I vote for the navy (ink ) dress as this colour really does suit you. I also love the combination of the dark blue with the tan/ brown. The second dress is lovely but I'm more drawn to the first.

That hair! Oh la la. I love it. Can't wait to hear the rest of the story. I agree with most that both are lovely dresses. If you could only keep one, I'd vote navy.

I love both on you, but if you had to pick one - I'd vote for the ink blue - you look amazing in it.

The brown belt with the blue dress is also from Martin+Osa. It was on clearance, but only in a size large so I modified it a bit to fit me. I'll stick those ends down for sure.
I love the blue dress, I just haven't worn it yet. I don't think it's appropriate for work or church, but I think it would be a great weekend or girl's day dress. I love it with brown, but I really like it with black in the photo, RoseandJoan.
My issue isn't that I don't like the dresses. I just worry that I'm sticking in a rut again, and I don't want to go there. There are several other things on my want to try list, and I need to complete looks, too.
I have the grey AP dress from NAS, and while the cuts are different, it seems like it would serve the same purpose.
It is still too warm to wear the AT dress and the NAS dress so I haven't had a chance to try them.

Why isn't the navy dress appropriate for work, Sarah? Too short?

Yes Angie, I think it's too short for work. I do sit behind a desk all day though. Perhaps tights or leggings would work?
I can wear shorter skirts to church except that I stand on a high platform for the first half.

Those are about the length I wear to work, and I work in a pretty conservative place. Since I'm at my desk it's not much of an issue while I sit, and I make sure to sit demurely when it is. LOL!

Two things I do to minimize them seeming too short:
1. In warmer weather I wear flats instead of heels, so attention is not drawn to my legs. Plus, in flats there is less distance between the bottom of the hem and the floor, so the skirt does not seems as short in proportion.
2. Wear tights and boots/booties in colder weather. Particularly if they are similar color to the dress, it makes my legs look more covered up.

Basically, it's all visual tricks. ;-D
