Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

Inspired by Bella

Ever since I first saw Bella's zebra scarf, I was on the hunt to find my own. I spotted this one at Macy's yesterday, and with the special sale, it was about $14.00! It's not quite as luxe as hers, but I think it's so much fun.

I also have on the ubiquitous Brulees, in pewter, which I also got with a generous discount (result of a nice BR reward coupon.) Do they work with bootcuts? I really don't wear straight leg jeans.

Love the scarf and the Brulees. Love your hair too. Lucky you to have those curls.

How nice to see the "famous" brulees in an outfit pic! They're very fab and the scarf is so fun!

Fantastic scarf!! So you. Love it!

Hmmm ... looking at it now, I wonder if it's too much grey/silver going on? Not enough contrast? Too matchy-matchy with the cardi and the shoes?

I love the scarf Tara! And do I even have to say, I love your shades!!!

T: Ya look good, girl! Love the scarf! And the Brulees look good too, from what I can tell.

Love the look! Even if it is lower contrast in color I think it works as something different on you. The scarf pattern provides contrast near your face.
The Brulees look like the perfect summer footwear.

You look classy! I love the monochromatic look. It looks very sleek to me, but you could add in a colored top or bag if you feel the need for a "pop" of color.

Bella - the shades, of course, are your trademark and I wanted to include them as a tribute to you!

You look wonderful, Tara! Very Euro. Love it.

Woo, Tara! You look great!! Love the sweet nod to Bella with the sunglasses. :)

I think you look fantastic. I don't think it's too matchy. It looks sleek.

Look great Tara. Have you lost some more weight recently?

Love it! It looks very "you", does it feel that way? The neutrals look terrific.

loveeee it. i have always shied away from animal print, but you and bella making it work so sassily (is that even a word?) is making me want to try an animal print SOMETHING.

i don't think it's too matchy-matchy either - the combo feels very "tarzy" to me, and there's enough differences in texture to keep everything interesting. it's a winner!

Tara-You look great!....and you have a great sense of humor!

Very, very chic Tara! You just made sober neutrals look perfect for spring!

YES, yes, and yes!! It works and looks perfect, not too much of anything. Good job incorporating new accessories.

I'm impressed you saw a look you were interested in and were able to implement it successfully. My skill at that isn't so great.

GREAT outfit - It's a "10" !

Tara, I have to say, you look terrific in that scarf.

And Bella should feel proud- I also bought a zebra scarf after seeing her outfit with it. Not sure it works for me, though.

Anyway, love the whole outfit- and I'm with Ann, you're looking tinier.

Tres Chic, T. I think animal print could be a new signature look for you.

Love the look Tara! Its awesome to see the Brulees in action too!

Tara, I'm late but now it's my turn to say how impressed I am with your style evolution. You have grown leaps and bounds since joining the forum, too. I love this look for you. It's perfect.

Love it! You look comfy and chic. Adore the sunglasses.

If you want to add color, just add a red or yellow bag?
