I know these are way over the top but I really like them. I saw some similar at Nordstrom's but didn't try them on because I don't have a pedicure. ( My husband told me I'm vain) The ones at Nordstrom's did not have feathers and would probably be my first choice. I looked on line and can't find them.

Debbie, the red and the black are gorgeous. Though, personally, I wouldn't even know how to begin wearing them. I think that these are the types of sandals that become a signature piece. This is not for the faint of heart. ( For some reason, I didn't like the purple ones.....)

The black are my favorite. The similar style I saw had coral and turquoise beads on the strap. I love sandals of all types.

Why do men think we are vain when we love a pair of shoes.... but they are not for wanting the latest and greatest phone, or the biggest TV on the block? grrrrr!!!!!

I agree- you have to be ready to make a statement if you wear those. They are beautiful-- do you see yourself wearing them?

I could see wearing them with a very plain summer dress. I love the idea but just not sure.

Hi Debbie, I'm not sure about the feathers, but love your idea of wearing them with a simple and elegant Summer dress. They would definitely be statement sandals that put a smile on your face.

And I love how you are developing your own, unique style so amazingly fast (I'm a much slower learner;-)
I didn't get a chance to comment on your trench coat thread by the way, but just want to say that I was drooling all over it (I've wanted a red trench for ages, but need a cooler shade of red). Enjoy wearing it!!

I'm pretty sure the "vain" comment was in regard to Debbie not wanting to show un-pedicured feet...but I can relate... I used to be the same way when my daughter took mommy & me gymnastics...I would always cringe when I realized I had worn shoes without socks and now people were going to see my non-pretty toenails.

But on to the sandals - I much prefer the black...I couldn't wear them (I don't think - learning not to say never around here) but you seem to have a clear idea of how to style them...they are definitely a statement shoe!

I vote yay too. I could see them with a black or dark red dress.

They are like a statement piece of jewellery, just slightly lower down on your body

Feathers seem to be quite "in" at the moment in the UK (having moved on from the sequin obsession over Christmas:

Inge and Taylor-Thank you so much. I'm enjoying trying to develop my style. I still have shopping days where I'm too overwhelmed to buy anything. My trip to Nordstrom's is a recent example.

I hope they work out for you Debbie they are gorgeous, just remember sun block in the summer to avoid the tan lines.
