...but I cannot make boxy shirt + boxy sweater to work for me!
I thought that maybe it is because my shirts are not boxy enough so I got perfectly boxy white shirt at Gap this weekend. I decided to pair it with my merino Tippi sweater...and I was very uncomfortable the whole day!
Now I am thinking that maybe this sweater is not boxy enough even if it is a pretty slouchy fit on me. Or maybe it's knit is too thin and therefore too clingy...in any case the shirt kept pooling under the sweater and I kept adjusting it all day.
Actually I think it is not the size but rather the weight. Last Sunday at Gap I tried to layer luxlight sweater over the shirt and had the same problem - and the sweater was pretty oversized on me but the knit was very thin.
I still love the idea but maybe I need different sweaters for that? I think my chunky cream Gap sweater may work but it is too long and the neck is too high for the shirt.

Anybody else has this problem? Any retail suggestions for sweaters which are suited better for this?

ETA: I have added a picture of my disaster...
