Kari - thanks so much for posting these! I absolutely hate the high waistband on things like this so will definitely give them a try! They seem more sheer than my other tights though - almost like hosiery from the picture. Is that how they are up close?

Just curious as I purchased the spanx tight-end tights in the reversible black/bittersweet & had to go down a size since I've lost weight over the summer so they seem to fit a little snugger & lower at the waist for me than I remember them fitting. However, they are a very thick solid color tight.

I don't have a Nordstrom close by so I'll need to see if I can find them at one of my local stores or else purchase on-line. How did the sizing run on them?

I don't know - I just have the gray pair, they are kind of sheer, but I also sized up too (to "Tall") because I wanted them to be a bit more opaque. I found them on Amazon here in black and brown.

Thanks Kari - I think I'm going to try them! I LOVE the spanx I have but they are full coverage tights & from looking at the pic's on your capsule wardrobe challenge it looks like these are a bit more sheer & will work for what I'm looking for. Thanks for your help! Nice style this week too!! :)

Thanks for the tip. I wish all tights came without a waistband! Given the advances in microfiber technology, a waistband seems obsolete.

You're very welcome! I agree - I don't know why more tights have this type of waistband. I just get sick of dealing with having a ridge at my natural waist that rolls down throughout the day with other types of tights. I was amazed at how well this pair stayed up. Hope they work as well for the rest of you if you try them.

I have a pair of these too. Divine! Glad you love them too, Kari. But they just don't come out as much as my patterns. I guess I'm on a huge texture kick at the moment.
