I am a "Me Too" believer now!

I have sipped the kool-aid! I am now the proud owner of some new Me Too flats. I wandered into Famous Footwear yesterday and decided to see what the fuss is about. I now own the following shoes...they feel like slippers!

I also went out on a limb and got these heels...they are super comfy on even MY fussy feet:

I did look around for some booties but their selection was either super high or flat and too casual. The one pair that was the right combo of sensible heel AND stylish was made of something "manmade" so I could only imagine my feet swelling and smelling after a few hours on my feet.

I'm glad that the Me Too flats worked for you too! Many of us here love them, aren't they so squishy? I especially love the Swann style and it is by far my favorite smart casual shoe.

I actually tried on all 4 of the different Me Too styles that were in the store and they all fit well, all comfortable and all true to size. I will wear them a few times to see how they do over time but I must say...tramping around the house yesterday afternoon in my new flats was an experience that had me smiling...not something shoes have done for a long, long time!

I want to wear them out and about to see how they stay on. Most flats tend to slip on my heels and I avoid wearing them when I need to walk distance since my feet get exhausted from clutching my toes to keep my shoes on.

(I challenge thee to a most-fussy-feet competition!)

Unfortunately I am going to have to return my Me Too's. They're not flats. They're the grey suede wedges with a button on top that was a the NAS. If I stand in them for any length of time, my knee starts to hurt and so do my feet. This is the first time a shoe has caused my knee to hurt - very strange. And I'm sad since I love the look of these shoes.

Marlene, I love the shoes you got. Apparently, I am a fan of big bows, not little bows. Huh, who knew? I wish suede footwear was more practical where I live. I love the texture and feel of suede. Your kool-aid comment cracked me up! And I decline your fussy foot challenge--you would surely (or should I say sorely) beat me!

Enjoy your new shoes. BTW, I didn't know that Famous Footwear carried Me Too. I've always had good luck at that store--and was surprised when so few people here seem to shop there. Maybe because we have one in our local mall, and it's really the only shoe store that isn't geared toward athletics in my town.

Sihaya, I am so sorry to hear about your grey suede Me Too wedges. I have the same pair in purple, have worn them twice so far ( for 10+ hours every time) and they have been incredibly comfy for me, right from the box.

There was a time when I didn't even look in FF becasue the quality of the shoes was marginal and with my fussy feet, there was just nothing that was comfy. But after a long, long absence, I went in there with my daughter, who wanted new shoes (5 year old feet can wear anything!) I had never seen Me Too in there before yesterday. Naturalizers are hit and miss since their sizing is not constant so my new heels are a nice surprise.

Shiyaha - heels are iffy on me as well...with my high arches, the "bend" needs to hit at just the right place and angle. Sometimes the angle of the heel can completely throw off your hips and that hurts your kneee...and it doesn't even have to be that high. It's funny how the body all works together!
