Aida, you were one of the first people I noticed on YLF. I remember you did a self-challenge where you wore a different combination every day for one year, and posted it. I was so impressed with this effort and the styles you created, and when you said "I learned there's a lot I can do with my existing wardrobe" (or something like that) it really resonated! Aida, you mix current items with your beloved '70s vibe like no other. I've often wondered how you do it, but each and everyone of your outfits always feels completely individual and unique. You have flair to spare, I love your fabulous shorter do, and you have an inner confidence that shines through in every photo. Thank you also for your always insightful comments and spot on advice. And high five to another lass who is enamored with long shorts (and rocks the look!)!

Rachylou, you are an individual in every sense of the word too. Your self-deprecating sense of humour and the quick and witty way in which you analyze style (and many other) situations often has me in stitches and nodding in agreement (because of the wise thoughts in your message). Well a very belated thank you to Angie and everyone who sent along birthday wishes! Life has been busy, but I did read this thread straight away (and have the roaming data charges to back it up ) and I am truly touched at all the wonderful comments here. I thoroughly enjoyed, and continue to enjoy, reading everyone's lovely thought out birthday wishes. Bonus hugs and thanks to those who know me in person, your comments were extra special to me <3

As Angie mentioned I was on an Alaskan cruise the week of my birthday. On the day we were in Ketchikan and did the seaplane flight that Karie recommended (awesome!), followed by cake which hubby had delivered to our room (see below!), and a delicious dinner at the ship's French restaurant. I wore my white sequin tank, ivory cardigan, black skinny pants, black studded flats, and an armful of bangles (also see below for dinner+a wonky photo, but that's what I've got handy).

Rachy, I'm pumped that we share the same birthday! Hope your day was fabulous, and for that matter, all the time since then and all the time beyond

Angie, the YLF birthday threads are truly, truly a treat. Thank you for your amazing continued enthusiasm and support!! I promise that, even though I haven't been on the forum, I have been representing YLF well. Along with Team White, Team White-on-White, and of course taking care of business in the Realm of Modern 70s as usual
