About your wardrobe and personal style

Got a new hair cut!

Remember when I was debating whether or not to change myhair and we collectively decided against it? Well today my hairdresser suggested a bob cut for me, which I believe some of you did, too. Well, I let her do it. Here are the results. Also welcome comments on this pre-ylf dress and necklace:

Your new do looks fantastic Michelle! I'd love to see a close-up but can, even from afar, tell that it accentuates the shape of your pretty face!

I think the dress is lovely too, perfect length for you and fab pattern. I can't see the necklace very well. Is it red?

P.S. I'm all set for the NAS tomorrow. I've saved your wish list and can't wait to go shopping;-)

Inga: sorry about the pic distance! The necklace is black. Glad you like the due and the dress!! And thank you in advance for your NAS help!

Stunning, Michelle! Between yours and sans new hairstyles, I think we might have to rename this "YouLookSizzlin'".
I love your hair AND your dress.

Great cut, Michelle! I really like the rounded shape, and how it frames your face. I've had a similar cut and it's pretty easy to style.

How short is it in the back?

You are so very pretty. I do love this on you! You look so great in this , the bob is perfect for you....so glad you avoided the bang (phew)

Some times I think as a stylist we enjoy making changes for you , as much as you love the change.

After a pretty fab day in the salon today...and lots of love comming my way from clients, I am reminded how much fab hair affects daily happiness:)

Oh, Michelle, it looks terrific on you! So sleek and pretty.

Very, very flattering on you! Do you like how it feels?

I hope you have enough help for NAS tomorrow! I hadn't remembered that I was going to be taking care of my nephew starting today (which brings us to three boys under the age of 7 in this house), so please forgive me for offering to help and not following through :(

Bet you score some great buys with Inge & Angie's help, though!

Very chic. This is a great look for you. Seems like it would be easy to style, too!

Beautiful cut, Michelle. Good for you for just going for it- I'm going to remember this next week when I go in for my cut.

Michelle, you look fantastic. Actually, when you posted your older pic of you in the red dress for the wedding, my first thought was how pretty your hair looked in a bob, and your new cut is every bit as great! Your face is gorgeous and the new hair frames it just right - your stylist was right on.

(I've been wearing my hair in a bob for much of my young adult life, and have sported varying above-shoulders lengths for the past two years. I am AWFUL at styling my hair, and I don't have your pretty natural waves to add volume, so I need a bob to add some shape.)

Great haircut it really suits you. All these fab haircuts are making me want to take the plunge don't think i've had mine cut in 2 years!!!!!

Thank you all so much for the sweet words and great feedback! Glad my new hair passes. It's already been through one shower and self-styling, and while I haven't totally mastered the hot-off-the-press, post-hairdresser look, I think I can do it. It's a very tactile cut in that sense.
Question: I reread descriptions of an inverted bob, and my new cut feels exactly like that... but my stylist called this a bob, and others are following suit. What exactly is the difference?
To answer someone else's question, it's much shorter at the back. I'm wearing my pearls right now, and the bottom of the cut is at least an inch above the clasp. I promise a close-up picture sometime soon.

Let's see a close up first, Michelle. That way we can tell you if your bob is inverted.
