Going out tonight

I want to try the vest/tank combo tonight. Now I just have to choose which bottom to pair the combo with. The vest is a menswear style in gray with pink and blue stripes the tank is pink with some embellishment around the neckline. Without taking pictures of all the options (I'll post the final outfit) should I wear white jeans, short shorts (I know Angie would not approve at my age) or a denim pencil skirt? Dark skinny jeans would look great, but I try not to wear them in the summer. Get enough wear in the fall/winter. Thanks!

I'd go with the denim pencil skirt. I tried a sleeveless top with vest and denim pencil skirt recently and got lots of compliments. Second choice would be the white jeans although I'd like dark jeans better with the pink. It sounds too little-girl precious to do pink with white unless it's a bright or deep pink.

I agree with Joy -- either the white jeans or pencil skirt sound fab. What shoes are you considering?

Joy, that did cross my mind about the pink and white, but I was thinking with the gray it might change things.

If I wear the white jeans I will wear my metallic gladiator heels. With the skirt I don't know, maybe the same. I am running out of time and I still don't know for sure!!
