I still find myself attracted to the oxford style in general, so I wonder if there will be new fall looks that incorporate them.

Marianne, you can pull of the oxfords and skinnies look with zero problem! You have the legs for it :)

Free People was showing the oxfords in the catalog with a cropped military style jacket in cream, and a fitted t-shirt, and distressed skinnies. So fab (except the distressed part!).

Wow, and I thought I got all my shoe needs taken care of. I love this pair. Oxfords have been on my mind for a couple of months, although I've been thinking of the spectator ones. I am reluctant because I have really pronounced calf muscle, and flat shoes really help me "show it off".

P.S. I just did a quick search on Zappos, and most oxford shoes are still either uber-casual or dr.martens :( There are some heeled versions, which look nice, but are a different animal.
