I totally agree with you. Footwear can change the whole
vibe. I am a shoe lover. Last month, I found beautiful shoe designs at Iris Atsin and I purchased one pair of shoes.

Fashionable footwear is the easiest way for me to update my style and wardrobe. I agree that it can change the whole look of an outfit. A summer dress looks different if wearing heels, sneakers, ballet flats, flip flops or booties...or cowboy boots.

I'm so glad the new booties work! Yes, I have become such a shoe horse. It is especially true if you like to wear simple or understated things on top. BTW your shoe collection is TDF!!!

You've all made such good points. I find footwear the trickiest part of the fashion puzzle. Sometimes it seems that the tiniest detail--the toe of a boot, the position of a strap--can make an entire outfit fizzle when it creates a proportion that isn't just right. And with comfort topping the list of requirements, things get very difficult. Angie's right: it takes time and patience to find shoes and boots that work. Sometimes, though, by the time I've found something that feels comfortable and looks right, fashion has already moved on!

Made two new boot purchases this year. Moto boots and chelsea boots. And they both elevated and expanded my wardrobe. Love them!
