First impressions? ETA: Cursory styling

EDIT: company was running late so added a quick outfit idea.

I love this print so much that I don't even care that it's a knockoff, but the color was listed as brown... this is pale orange/peach to me. I don't think it is the most flattering color, but I'd most likely wear a jacket all the time since I run cold.

The seller accepts returns. It is 100% silk and only does that ride-up thing in pic 1 when I cock a hip to pose.

I have company coming, so no time for makeup or styling ATM, but what are your first impressions? If I want to complain about the color, I should do it soon.

Cute kitties, but to be honest, my first impression is they look like pajamas from a distance. Something about the silk, the size of the print, and the pastel color. I am not sure I like peach on you, but then again I am biased against soft colors and prefer deeper saturated colors on myself and you.

My very first impression is that yes this looks more pale orange/peach. From what I can see I'm feeling like this orange is too much cream and not enough sour for you. Normally I see YOU in the clothes, this dress seems to pop off your skin and you fade into the background. I think this is a tricky color to determine through photograph. But omg kitties! Silk! So cute ><

Hmm..color looks like pale peach to me too. I think the print is cute but I don't know if I like it on a dress. I don't know if that's the best color for you either, I think you look better in brighter shades...

I don't think I'm any help...I love the cut and the print, but I'm on the fence about this peachy color on you. I think it's sort of closer to your skin tone so it doesn't flatter you as well as those colors that are more contrasty with your skin tone.

On the plus side - it shows off your gorgeous legs which have been MIA during manspiration. On the minus side - the colour is underwhelming for you.

Cat lover *meowing* in again! I still say "keep it." I love it with the dark jacket and booties. I don't "see" a nightgown. IF you decide to let it go...Is it close to my size; I'll buy it if it's close to a small petite and you don't want it. The chorus here in Palm Desert still thinks it's cute on you!

It's the neckline that kills it for me. Or maybe the neckline in combination with those sleeves. I bet if it were sleeveless with that neckline I would like it.

I didn't think pj, and I don't think it's a bad color on you. I actually like this color on you. And I think you look adorable, but you look good in everything.

My reservation is that it's a lot of cute, and that's not really the style you go for. Maybe seek a cat top or scarf, so it's not so much cute? A little sugar goes a long way.

Rae, I think Ana's Anthro link is really cute, too, and the color may be better. Plus, you could wear your white it black (p)leather jackets with it (both, actually). I'd better pass as if it's too much sugar for you, it will be doubly so for me.

Funny, the fit/flare shape of the Anthro dress looks too sweet in *my* eyes. That was what I didn't like about the Zara dress, too. :T

Reading your last post and I have to agree with you (you are very astute) that the Anthro dress is maybe even a sweeter look for your UWP tastes and with your accoutrements (boots, jackets, etc.), you can make this cat roar, soft color or not. I know I'm in the minority and I guess it's that I never saw PJ's ever.
