Fidji sandals: Yay or Nay?

I'm torn. They're really, really comfortable. I'm just not sure they're super cute enough to justify the price. Does the "Spring olive" color look sickly against my skin? Thoughts?

I'm not an expert but I love them. I think they look fine against your skin. Is your weather such that you will get a lot of use out of them?

Its funny, looking at the pics that do not show the color of your clothes, I'm not crazy about the color. But seeing them with the clothes, they look great. Since you'll be wearing them with clothes, I vote keep

I think I agree with fathenry... they look good with the pants, but the color looks strange next to bare skin. Do you plan to wear them with pants or skirts?

If I keep them, I'll wear them with pants, skirts, shorts, etc. If they look too funky next to my skin, I won't keep them. :o)

again, I'm going to resist peer pressure. I have to say I'm not crazy about them. They are really cute with the pants, but on your bare legs I think you could find a cuter pair.

Hmmm. It's funny...they do look much better with the pants. I'm not wild about the color or the wide ankle strap, though. I think they look better with the pants because it punches up the color and hides the strap.

If you don't have fussy feet, then I think you could find cuter.

I was also curious about the cute factor of these shoes so I'm glad you posted them! I think they're adorable, almost like ballet flats, but I'm not crazy about the color. Don't they come in silver as well?

Maya, they do come in silver, but I already have pewter Brulees, pewter KC Cedar City wedges, and silver ballet flats. I've already got silver covered. :o)

Oh, I have no problems duplicating colors numerous times in footwear, but I have fussy feet. If your feet are nice and obedient, I'd keep looking. Otherwise, I'd trade them in for the silver. As far as shoes go, there is no such thing as too much of a good thing!

I'm thinking I might be better off with the Clark's Smooch in champagne. I'll definitely be on the lookout for other Fidjis. They feel awesome!

Being a new "Fidj" fan, I saw your post before anyone else had answered, and my first reaction was "not crazy about them". I didn't want to say that because sometimes I don't trust my own opinion, but I agree with Maya, unless your feet are super fussy I would keep looking. I could justify spending (the most I've ever spent on shoes) for mine because I have been unable to find a stylish comfortable heel or dressier shoe to wear with dresses and skirts other than boots and sandals. Unless you can wear them with everything, I think I would keep looking.

I'd get the Smooch sandals Boof! They are less expensive and probably just as comfy. The colors are great too.

I'm ok with not getting the Fidjis right now. I really wanted another pair of flat-ish sandals. I love the other Fidji styles, but I really don't need to spend a lot of money on another pair of heels. Marianna, I'm in love with your pink shoes!
