Urban Titanium. Now that is a name I can get behind! Who needs tame ol' taupe when Urban Titanium is on the scene????

LBD, you made my day with that one.

Great dye job! I think they look super.

Great job with the color, I actually like the white threads on the pockets a lot. My offerings for name - Mushroom or Cement, but Urban Titanium sounds so much cooler.

You gotta love a story about dyeing with a happy ending. Success!

I like them a lot! I'm not sure exactly what to call the color, but they look like what you get when you apply a sepia filter to a picture you've taken, but don't take it quite to 100 percent.

I never got around to replying to the original thread, but I was hoping you'd go through with dyeing them because I'm one of the few people here who's never gotten into white jeans at all and could see about any other color getting more wear.

Oh wow! Great dye job there! And it does look taupe. As long as it plays well with your wardrobe ... Success!

I love your new urban titanium jeans! What a great job you did on them. I can sympathize with your puzzle over what to wear with them. I made a pair of gray pants that I thought would go with everything in my closet, only to find they really don't go with that much, curiously. Just keep trying everything, and eventually I'm sure you'll find things to wear with them besides the couple of obvious ones that leap out at first.

Phew no need to cringe! I think this is a great colour and will work with many wardrobe items. They are also a wonderful fit on you so it is great that you will get more use of them.

These turned out really well and are a fabulous fall neutral. Well done!

Total success. Totally great colour. Well done Carter!

I must admit I was skeptical at first - but WOW - these look great and will totally fit into your wardrobe!!!

I love the colour, sort of a dark ecru...I bet they'd look great with a dark red top!

Thanks so much, everyone! I did find quite a few things that work well with them. I didn't have time to try on everything this morning, but a few are below. Please ignore the seasonal confusion of the ones with sweaters and sandals. I had to be out the door early this morning, so there was no time to fret over my cold weather shoe situation.

Neelie, funny you should mention dark red...that was one of my favorites this morning. I think I may need to add another pretty in a deep, dark red:-)

I totally adore this color, it's very hard to find. I was thinking "Graphite" for the name, although that doesn't really take into account the slight brown notes. Looks like you were able to find some great matches in your wardrobe!

Looks great! You must've been stirring a lot!

I like the way you've styled your newly coloured jeans and may I suggest they would also look really good with a bright white top, shirt or sweater too.

That's the way to be boss of your clothes! I like them because I think you do midtone neutrals really well. I'm a fan of more variety in colors of pants --- after a decade spent almost entirely in black pants.
