Yeah, I do. Often enough something will look nice on the clothes rack, but when putting it on it just looks awful on me. Plus, having to return it would make me lose much time, since the clothing shops (only boutiques here with a clothing style catered to a much older crowd) aren't in my own village.

Wow, some people buy stuff in shops without trying it on? I had no idea. I thought the whole point of going to a brick-and-mortar store was so that one could try on the clothing! Otherwise, why not just order online?

Always, and I dress for it. No jewelry or belts, or shoes with laces or zippers (must be easy-on/easy-off). Nothing that needs tucking in, and as few layers as possible. I can try on 30 things in under 10 minutes.

The only time I buy without trying is late at night at the Target sales rack. I loathe any kind of back-and-forth.

Always always always, and if there is no dressing room I either pop the item on over what I'm wearing or leave it. I take back enough things that I've tried on and liked in the store

I always try items on in store unless I'm short on time. I try on multiples sizes and usually most of the stuff don't work for me. There's no way I want to buy all that stuff and then return it later. Plus, I make enough returns from my online orders.

I cannot imagine taking something home without trying it on in the store, but we really do not have other options in Italy, return policies are almost non-existent!
