Those are plaid, not macro-check, sorry. I had a pair just like them this winter (although in a much bigger size LOL). I loved 'em, but they are hard to find appropriate tops for, especially with the grey.

Hmmm. I better read back up on microcheck. I'm confused. I see the difference but can't quite say that I've got it sorted so that if I were shopping I would get it again. Back to Angie's blogs about them, I think.

Ok. We successfully identified that these are plaid. I don't mind plaid. In fact, I kind of like it. BUT, we still haven't resolved if I can wear plaid bottoms. Do they look ok on me?

Alecia, can you take pics of you with some tops you might wear with these plaid pants so we can help to tell if they work for you?

Alecia, I happen to be a fan of plaid pants, as long as they are worn tastefully and not too loud. Otherwise it looks costumey or pajama-y. I think you can probably incorporate them into your wardrobe, but the way you are wearing them in the picture makes them look like loungewear so it's hard to judge. I'm with San--let's see them in an outfit.
