Carole's target dress in teal.... keep or return?

So after seeing how great Carole looked in her brown Target dress, I raced right over and snatched one in teal.
keep or return? I'll only keep it if it's a 10. Does the color make it too dressy to use as a day dress?
And please excuse the not so fab hair-- I am counting down the hours until my hair appt..... 47 hours and 12 minutes to be exact

It is a 10- the color is gorgeous on you and it will be a go to dress. Such a find!!

okay, so far everyone likes (despite the fact that I was not photographing well today :-/
Carole-- they didn't have the brown in my size, only the teal in my size...
Sara- yes, I had my cream jacket with me in the dressing room and it did look nice.
Marianna- yes, I am soooo excited!!!

I'll try some styling options soon and see if the verdict is still keep. I do think the black belt I had on was a bit wide, I'm going to try some other belt options....
and of course, Angie hasn't chimed in.... she has veto power around here

I really like the dress.

In the picture it looks as if it is bunching right by the top of the underarm...is it just the picture or how the dress falls ? If it falls that way, I wouldn't give it a 10....otherwise I would.

I noticed that too Isabel- I wondered if I just didn't have it on all right. I'll definitley take another look at that-- but I would most likely be wearing it with something over it as well-- like a jacket.

Kim, the colour is AMAZING. Hmmmm. I don't think that the bunching is a problem. Do you? Does it feel small? I'd like to see the dress without a belt and perhaps pass on the scarf worn as a belt.

Angie- yes, Marianna and I are getting together for coffee Thursday-- we'll be sure to get a pic or 2
AND, your wish is my command- I'll get a pic of the dress without the belt-- and I agree, the scarf as a belt was not so fab... It doesn't feel small, but I don't think I could do any smaller either (kristin had asked if it was too big)

Hi Queenie, it doesn't seem to be a size issue, because otherwise it seems to fit you well and is not really pulling.

You weren't wearing a strapless bra, were you ? Sometimes garments gather at the top of the cup and that is all it is.

The color is great on you and the dress is very pretty. I am a bit of a fit/drape freak...so forgive me. ( My husband says that I just need to get over this......)

Isabel- dont' apologize at all... in fact that's why I post here- to have the advantage of more sets of eyes. Others see what I often miss.
No, I wasn't wearing a strapless bra-- I need to try the dress on again and see if I can adjust it to get rid of some of that draping.... I just can't do it now because I'm babysitting and the baby is asleep in my room.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. I will get around to styling it one of these days and then we can all play "which look do you like best?"

Queenie, It really really does look great on you. Makes me want to go to Target tomorrow to try to score one. I haven't seen them at ours though so they may be gone. But I think you are going to really like having that and will get some real use out of it.

The teal is a great color for you, and I don't think it looks to dressy as a day dress. I like that you can dress it up or down easily.
