Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

Canvas skimmers

OK, I have to confess that I really love the new Keds flats with those silly prints, and when I tried them on at Macy's, they were dreamily comfortable. But of course, they have a very young look to them. I think I can still qualify as a spring chicken at 24, but I'm petite and always have to be mindful of looking like a kid.

I am especially fond of these: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/28488030/c/723.html

But I also admit I find these hard to resist: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/2.....27564.html

Could I pull it off if the rest of my outfit is more grown up, or am I just too late for this trend?

I group the skimmers with converse in the casual fashion sport shoe category, but I love them too. I don't think they're too young and they're generally cheap so you don't have to be super committed to them. I just got these for spring:

I don think either of those shoes are overly youthful. I am 39 and I would wear them.

Go for it Maya! I adore them and I know that they are comfortable because I’ve had my feet in the black pair. I would wear both pairs and I am 37. Love yours too Patience.
