Please let me know what you think of these three pair of boots.
The only ones I must keep are the Dolce Vita ones. Since they didn't work with the skirt, how do they look with jeans?

I like the Dolce Vita. I love the height of the shaft on you.
The others with the lover shaft, I'd have to see in actual outfits to know for sure if I like that short boot.

I think the Dolce Vitas look great with skinnies!

The other two are cute too. Like San, I would like to see actual outfits to see how they work with skirts. I think it depends a lot on the length and cut of the skirt/dress.

LOVE the DV boots!

The brown ones cut up your leg line, IMO. The blue ones less so with the jeans. I would like to see those ones with skirts, too.

yes, the DV work better with your jeans.
of the other 2 pairs, I like the first pair- I"d like to see them with a skirt.

I think what doesn't work with the DV boots with the skirt is you need dark tights/hose. I think the bare legs segments you legs (black skirt -- light skin -- black boots), but with tights you would have one long lean dark line.

I love the DVs, and I actually like them with the skirt as well! I think the suggestion to try them with the skirt and black tights is a great one. Personally, I don't like the other two pairs with the jeans--I feel like they both cut the leg line unnecessarily. I love that Nanette Lepore skirt--I wanted to buy it myself, but I'm too short for it and with the zipper I didn't think it would be easily altered.

The DV's are Awesome!!! And I really like them with skirts too. I am not seeing the problem with that. The other two boots are flat and therefore I am not a good judge , but I would keep and wear the heeled DV's with both.

Okay, thanks ladies. I'll take a photo of the shorter, flat pairs with skirts/dresses and see what you think.
I'm so confused about mid-calf boots, but I think I'm understanding that those are meant to go with skirts and not jeans so much.
These are my only skinnies and I really need to get a (smaller) darker pair. I just wanted to make sure I could get the boots over jeans look to work for me before I invested in a pair.

They are the *only* pair of non-zip boots that I've been able to pull on without them getting stuck at my arch or calves.

I absolutely love the Dolce Vita boots (both with skirts and pants!!) and I don't think the other boots look bad either.

By the way: that grey short-sleeved top looks amazing on you and I LOVE the third picture (in which you are looking up), beautiful!!

Late to be chiming in but the boots look stellar with skinnies. I really like them with skirts too. That grey ruffle neck tee is soo cute. You look lovely in all the pictures
