Great tips...I have heard about the Monistat but have never tried it...The Wet'n'wild lipstics are TDF...I mix two colors and have gotton a ton of compliments...Thank you for taking the time to share these suggestions..I am going to bookmark this one...

Thanks! Great round up.
You are so right about the eyebrows! It becomes even more important post menopause when they really do seem to get sparser and paler.

Lots of reviews on using the Monostat anti-chafing stuff as primer on makeupalley.com which also has lots of other reviews. . .

For those for whom many products make them break out, acne.org has lots of reviews as well.

Great ideas! I was particularly intrigued by the Monistat-thingy. However, I live in Sweden, and I'm not sure if we have an equivalent product here... But, my dad just spent a weekend in the UK, and after a quick google search I found their equivalent: Lanacane Anti Chafing Gel https://m.boots.com/h5/cat_hub.....Country=uk.

I sent him the link and a picture, but unfortunately he couldn't see the pic, and ended up buying another Lanacane product... Lanacane creme (see the pics). Very sweet of him to try, but I don't think I can use this one... The main ingredient in this one is Benzocaine, and that's not even in neither the Anti Chafing Gel or the Monistat one... It does say on this one that it "forms a protective film", and I understand that the other two does something similar... But I guess this one won't work... Do you have any thoughts and recommendations on this? Could it be worth trying, or should I just try and find a Swedish counterpart?

Hoping you'll be able to help!

Benzocaine is a numbing agent, so I would not try that ointment on your face, Karin. It might work well for hives or insect bites!

I use the Monistat chaffing gel under my breasts and it is great. Tried it once as a primer and you only need the tiniest amount, but I like my Neutrogena primer better for me. I got the Monistat through drugstore.com.

Thank you Nannabella! Will keep that for other things then, but not use it for my face..!
