Ask Angie: Are short shorts for me?

I read you entry on short shorts and just thought to ask would they fit me and be aprropriate. And what sort of shoes should i wear with them? Any an all hints are welcome.

Can you post a picture and tell us something about yourself?
Short shorts are not for everyone. Are we having a resurgance of the 60's hot pants Angie? How will they be reworked for this millinium? Just kidding ofcourse. This is one case were I'd definately say that I wore it once so won't wear it again.
My 13 yr old grand daughter wears short shorts and I honestly think it's just about time to trade them in for a longer variety.

Well im 21 (22 on june 16th) years old im 5´10" tall weight aroun 134lbs 38-23-37. I really don´t know what else to say. Here is a pic

You do have a knock out figure and look amazing in a bikini. I think it would be fine to wear short shorts to the beach too.

I think short-shorts are totally appropriate for you, especially considering your figure and age! Heck, I'm 34 and packing up my collection of shorts for our beach trip next week and I've got a few pair with a 3" inseam. Truthfully, they don't get alot of wear except on vacation ... occasionally I'll trot them out for a summer date-night with dh if we can get a sitter. Mine are chino/dressy shorts, and I normally pair them with sleeveless loose tops and strappy wedges like Angie blogged about today. I also wear them some with flat gladiator sandals.

Um, I think with your body you have a blank check to wear whatever you want. You're also young so why not? With a figure and age like yours, there is really no limit. Now is the time to experiment!

Go for it! Melody hit the nail on the head - gladiators or strappy wedges look great with short shorts.

Thanks all for answering and compliments. Well it seems i then haven´r wasted my money i have bought a few short shorts but haven´t been sure would i look good in them. Gldiator flats are missing from my shoe collection but i do have few wedges. Hmm thats an excuse to go shoe shopping lol. Would some sort of heels look good with shortshorts too? Just asking cos i have quite a few of those lol.
