Are these jeans too long?

I haven't hemmed my Paige Premium jeans yet because I've been itching to try some heels (all my other jeans are PPL for flats).

I bought the Me Too 'Medley' which has a 1 1/4 inch wedge, but I think these jeans are still about a 1/2 inch too long...

I also just ordered the Me Too 'Frost' for $30 in burgundy! (http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7440703.html) and that has a 2.5 inch heel (which I am wondering if I can get reduced to 2 inches).

Anyway... how do I hem these jeans? Should I leave them as is? They'll probably be perfect with the 2.5 inch heel... but do they look ridiculous with the 1 1/4 inch wedge?

hmmm, I'm thinking maybe.
I've been wondering lately if the long slouchy jeans look is past, or if I'm just really enjoying the new cleaner look of the straights and skinnies. Not that I'm telling you that it is outdated, just something I've been pondering lately.
You might want to reserve these jeans for heels and find another pair for flats-- not that we have unlimited budgets for jeans, but for bootcut I do think that you need 2 lengths.

Hmmmm. What is the likelihood of you getting 2.5 inch heels? I’d hem these for your wedges and ankle boots. They look too long at the moment.

Mariana, they definitely look too long as is. I guess my question is the same as Angie's. It doesn't sound like you wear heels very often.

I am struggling with the same issue with a pair of jeans that I have. I used to wear heeled ankle boots (3") all winter long and I like the look of a long pair of jeans with them but I've had all sorts of foot issues over the last year and I am debating on whether it is really practical to have jeans hemmed for heels when it seems unlikely that I will wear them this way. I have yet to get my orthotic inserts that my doctor recommended and I have this secret hope that the orthotic will make it possible for me to wear the heels without pain!

Great shoes!!! I officially welcome you to the Oxford's Club! I can't wait to see an outfit with them.
The jeans are definitely a little long, but don't take advice from me on PPL because I follow the SPL (shorter pant length).

Okay, thanks for the advice. I feel that they just need to be hemmed about half an inch, which feels so silly, but I guess it has to be done!

They are comfy for me. The heel is shorter than I'm used to, so that may not help you. I'm wearing them in this photo, before the pants were hemmed:

Thanks for the pictures! I LOVE them and they look great on you! I really hope they work for me. The heel is a lot higher than I'm used to, so that will be a challenge.
