Anyone familiar with Jamison brand?

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anybody out there has had any experiences with Jamison brand clothing? Specifically, how it runs size wise? I found a cute little jacket online that I really like and I want to order, but I can't decide between the Medium and the Large. The sizing chart is pretty useless, since there is so much variation from brand to brand.

Thank you!

I've never heard of the brand. Is it expensive? Can you order both and just return the one that doesn't fit?

It's kind of expensive. I found the jacket on sale:

It's cropped, so I think it would be very versatile. I could wear it with dresses, skirts, or I could layer it over a longer top and wear it with jeans. It even has elbow length sleeves, which are my favorite! I *could* order both, but then I'd be tapped out until I got the jackets and could return one, and then have the money credited back. I might just end up doing that, since it might sell out in the other size while I'm waiting, and it's a good, basic piece.

It's a beautiful jacket Ana. If you think it's perfect, I think it might be worth it to get both sizes. Even if someone here has an idea of what the sizing is like, sometimes things vary based on style. I'd hate for you to order the wrong size and then find out that the size you really need is sold out. I guess it depends how much you would regret missing out on it, and it sounds like you would regret it a lot. It seems perfect for you.

Pretty jacket.

Tricky. My guess is that a medium will work. I too am unfamiliar with the brand. Hope one of the sizes tickles your fancy!

That's a gorgeous jacket Ana. Unfortunately I am also unfamiliar with the brand and it's sizing.

Thanks for advice Angie and Tanya. I contacted customer service at Saks and they told me to go with the large because that particular items runs small, so that's what I'm going to do. It'll probably fit my shoulders at least, and if it's too big in other places, I'll have it taken in. I used to go for sizes that fit my torso, and just dealt with tight shoulders, but I started to get tired of not being able to lift my arms over my head, hee hee. I'd rather just spend the money to have it taken in on the sides.
