chewyspaghetti's thread has me thinking about a wardrobe orphan in the back of my closet. I have a dark blue denim shirt given to me several years ago that has a leopard print collar, and I'm wondering if it's something I can make work in my current wardrobe.

The animal print makes it dressier, but does it also make it seem too dated? And I'm trying to think of ways to style it. I think it would look good with, say, the classic pencil skirt and pearls, but like chewyspaghetti, my lifestyle is pretty casual and I would have few occasions to wear it like that.

Ideas?

Unfortunately, my camera is currently on the fritz, but I'll try to get a photo up when I figure out what's wrong with it.
