an old dress that i've found in my closert

I think it suits you and is lovely on you, expecially for a friends wedding. This does look to me like it fits into the maxi dress catagory which Angie blogged about yesterday. I think a wedding is a good place to wear a maxi dress. I wonder if Angie agrees.

If you want to get more wear out of the dress you might have it shortened to knee length. To my eye, the cardi looks fine with the dress and would still look great with the shortened dress.

thanks ladies, yeah i think its to long cos im only5"2 the dress is for full figure women. i like the dress but i feel its out of fashion nowdays? so i'll wear my black dress with the black top but i might wear the black sliver cardi as on as #4.

those are great colors, but i agree with the others that you look much more fab in knee-length skirts :). i see you feel it looks a bit out of fashion; i think that's more to do with the cut than the print. perhaps it's worth altering?

i do like the black and silver cardigan and if you end up wearing your black dress i think that would really pop and make it interesting.
