Good for you for making changes that add to your confidence and health! I had to learn that there is generally a 1" differences between larger sizes, beginning with 10 or 12, than between, say, a 6 and an 8. My petite friends never believe me when I say it's 20 lbs between sizes for me, and it's 15 lbs before anyone can tell I've lost (or gained) weight.

You look stunning in that blue dress!

Congrats! YbothLF!

So glad you have made a slow lifestyle change...Your weight will stay off more easily if you have done it slowly...Three cheers for you and you do look wonderful...

Thanks everyone!

Laurinda, that was a fascinating article. Thanks for sharing. It's so true when you eat that way you are less hungry and it's easier to stay on track because you don't have cravings!

Beth Ann, for me it's also approx 20 lbs of weight loss to drop a size… so frustrating! I am really thick through the middle which makes it even harder to go down in clothing size!

Congratulations on the weight loss! You look gorgeous. I am looking forward to seeing your outfit posts.

You look gorgeous in the blue dress. Congratulations to both of you. You were beautiful before and after.

Congratulations Mariana. You have beautiful features at both weights but with the loss, they are more lovely. Your hubby looks great too.

First off, I want to say that at any weight point you are so stunning. What a beauty you are. Then, wow, what a change! You and your husband really look very healthy and good now. It was the best decision to make lifestyle changes as opposed to embarking on any "diet", since this will pay off in the long term. Changes are very slow to show, but I promise, at one point, it starts going very fast with visible results, often in a sudden manner after months and months of the new lifestyle. Please do post gain on YLF, because, You look fab!

You look terrific, you should toot your own horn.

Marianna, you are beautiful no matter what, but you are looking especially terrific! That is a big accomplishment, and I know it is not easy. Congrats!

How wonderful that you and DH did this together... It is so much easier to gain than it is to lose and the slow way is best chance of maintaining the loss. I agree those last ten are the most difficult so power through and don't get discouraged..

Congratulations , you both look great.

Thanks for all the kind works and encouragement, all. Greatly appreciated. I've had a good food week and am feeling re-energized about losing the last 20 lbs!

FYI, I'm going to take the pics down now (I feel weird about having the pics up for too long).

Thanks again!

Marianna, I'm sorry I missed seeing your photos, but am thrilled you are back and doing so well.

I missed the photos too, but congratulations to you both for making this long-term investment in your health! I'm sure you feel better than ever, and may you will continue to experience positive changes as you progress towards your goal.
