Nine West Rose Dot Fan Print Dress

Patterned nylon spandex dresses with ruched bust detailing are flattering on the busts, waists and hips of most people. The drape on this dress is fab. I’m sure you’d get away with hand washing this dress so don’t worry about the dry clean only label (I often hand wash my frocks made of this fabric). Wear it classically like you see in the picture, or add an edge with booties and a biker jacket. Either way, this is a flop-proof dress style for ladies who are regular height or petite.

Note that the colours in the photo are a little off. The floral print is both fuchsia AND red in real life. The dress is currently on sale for $92.99.

Tried this on in store and it is truly gorgeous, flattering as can be, and the colors seemed dominated by fuschia and not red, at least in the dress I tried. Runs true to size, maybe even on the small side. Stunning. Gorgeous. Another great pick from Angie!

I tried this on in Macy’s and fell in love with it. So comfortable and fun to wear. I was afraid that the front would be too low cut, but that was not the case. The fit is quite flattering, and the hemline hit my 5’7″ frame at a modest 2 inches above my knee. I would say the fit was true to size as well. The coloring is actually a pink and a red mix which I thought added more interest to the look .
I ordered through the YLF store and with my $10 off of a $30 purchase, my total was $41.00. Not bad!

Angie knows how to pick them! This is one of the most flattering dresses I’ve ever had on. It clings to the right places and drapes over spots I want to hide (tummy). Fabric is a nice heavy-weight jersey knit. It could stand to be a bit shorter on me (I’m 5’3″), but I’m ok with the length (hits at or a little above my kneecap). I love the mix of the cool fuschia and warmer red shades.

Everything about this dress – the cut, color, print, fabric – is just awesome! The print keeps the eye moving; the fabric is luscious and drapes SO flatteringly. I am short at 5’1″ and it hit me right below the knee. Most knee-length dresses are usually too long on me but this was perfect. It is also very versatile – throw on a moto jacket and boots or denim jacket and flats or just a cute pair of heels. I might even try them with stirrup leggings. Thank you Angie, you’re a genius!

I really think this is a “magic dress.” Its pattern and colors are universally flattering. It seems to glide over trouble spots and accentuate the positive. It can be easily dressed up or down, and I fully expect to be able to wear this dress in all but the hottest summer weather. It’s wonderful to throw something over your head and look instantly fabulous! So easy!

I ordered this dress from the Macy’s website and it finally arrived. It’s beautiful! As Angie said, the styling is super flattering, and I love love the bright pattern. Perfect colors for me. The only thing I’m not sure about is the length. It hits above the knee and actually feels about an inch too short for dress length (and too short for tunic length.) This doesn’t happen for me very often, so I’m surprised that noone else seems to have this issue. The dress feels like a “petite” size to me in terms of lenght, though it’s a regular 8. I’m not sure yet whether I’ll keep it, maybe I need to post a picture and get feedback. But besides the length issue, it’s a wonderful (and comfortable!!) dress!

This really dress is magic – it may be one of the most flattering dresses I’ve ever put on. It makes me most of my figure, giving me a tiny waist and not making my big bust look bigger. I don’t even need a camisole underneath the V-neck. It hits me (5’2″) just above the knee. It arrived last night and I like it so much that I’m wearing it today with black tights and boots.

Awesome dress. Super comfortable, versatile, easy to travel with, low maintenance. I love the color, the cut, the bold pattern. I tend to wear it with a cami underneath and love that I can wear it with many different kinds of shoes.

I bought this dress primarily because it has sleeves! I have a lot of dresses this material that are either sleeveless or have such short sleeves that I can only wear them in the summer without a cover up. The sleeves on this dress make it much more versatile for me.

I’ve only worn it once but I loved the dress even more as the day went on!

I feel so fab in this dress! It is very flattering even with my belly bulge and large chest. It ran true to size for me. Several of my friends commented on how hot I looked in it. (Got to love that!) I’ve worn it with high heeled black boots and nude sandals. I even wore my cream moto jacket over it (for warmth outside), and that didn’t look too bad with it.

I have worn this dress multiple times and just realized I never wrote a review. I never thought I’d go for something with such a bold pattern, but this dress is fabulous! Its modestly cut, but still draws endless compliments. I’ve worn it to work with black hose and booties, and for a portrait sitting with simple heels. Love it!

This is a long overdue review as I thought I had posted this previously, but apparently hadn’t done so on the store yet.

This dress is very figure flattering and comfortable despite the bold, large scale pattern and the fact that the colors are much brighter than what I usually wear. Like Mellllls, I was excited to find a beautiful dress with longer sleeves, since Seattle’s climate is usually too chilly for short-sleeved dresses or shirts alone. I love the ruched bust line as well as the fact that the center was high-cut enough that I can comfortably wear the dress to work. Like Srujana, I prefer to wear the dress with black hose and booties or knee-high boots, although it also works well with black leggings.
Wearing the dress never fails to generate compliments on the print – coworkers refer to this as the “butterfly dress.”
The only caveat is that the dress is a touch shorter than I would prefer for work wear – a couple inches above knee length – but it’s certainly not so short that I feel uncomfortable.

This is a very flattering dress. The fabric has just the right amount of stretch and drapes well. I am usually wary of empire-waist styling, but this dress does not pouf out too much in front, probably due to the weight of the fabric. It is the perfect length for my 5’0″ height. I do wear a cami underneath as the front is rather low-cut right in the center.
