I decided to soften my pair of mens sweatpants with this blush chiffon blouse, a recent purchase. When I laced up the heeled brogues, it felt almost Teddy Girl.
This outfit has huge amounts of happy factor. The blouse is blousy, drapey, and swingy, with a curved high-lo hem, a zipper at the back of the neck, and the neckline and wrists are cuffed with an exposed zipper. It also has tons of lace and pintucks. And the color feels so chic yet sweet.
The stiletto brogues are an old item and I liked them because they pick up on the sweet femme vibe, and are also a light neutral, so they don't stand out or compete.
Not sure about the hair--maybe its too sweet and "girly." Maybe there needs to be a tough or RATE component to this outfit. ??
