Hi friends

Ah life is getting quite hectic with the new job so I must apologize for my absence. I think I need to copy Queen Mum and give myself a YLF day, once a week!

I have been playing hard in my closet. I had to impose a SYC after way too much shopping in September (hey I went travelling). So I took a lesson from MaryK and many others. I stripped some photos I liked out of magazines, then dressed my bed. I was so inspired I have been impatient to wear all these new ideas! And it worked. The shopping desire is much minimized when I am more focused on wearing my clothes!

So for the week

Monday was a repeat of a favorite from last spring.

1. Tuesday, cobalt blue skinnies, petrol green cotton shirt (new), grey blazer (new) and taupe suede booties (hey Suz, taupe!)
2. Wed - red riding hood? I wore black jeans (new), black riding boots (new), a white cotton shirt (new) and white military vest, and my red double breasted blazer (NEW)
3. Thurs- I worked from home but put on my favorite ethnic print jeans and styled myself for going out to lunch...with white wool/black leather arm jacket (new), burgundy ethnic print scarf (new) and burgundy purse from Guess (new)...oh and the new hiking booties from Desigual. (new again)
4. last, I took a business trip to Finland friday so I dressed a bit more business like...with navy shiny slouchy slacks (new - custom made), navy tank, hot pink blazer and flat black tie ups with snakeskin printed leather (new)

As you see, the NEWS far outway the 'olds' in my outfits so I feel that although m shopping this fall has never been worse, I have actually found things that 1. go together, 2. fit into my style 3. are better quality 4. i LOVE to wear!

I am a solid 10 in happiness factor although I do maybe give the business attire less happiness but it is necessary sometimes!

Now, I am off to read about what you all have been up to this week!

thanks for looking and sharing my style journey. I am really seeing my uniform works! Love it
