Great husband comment - and I'd take it as a compliment! I love the soft plum color under the jacket too.

I'd also like to see it with a similar sweater underneath that is just maybe 4-5 inches lower than the jacket hem - just to see what difference it might make.

Love the jacket & no you do not look like the scary soccer mum you look like the stylish, youthful soccer mum.

I like this outfit, but I'd love to see this remixed with a turtleneck or some knit that is more form fitting and not as long. This way the jacket is even more the star of the outfit instead of sharing the spotlight with the tunic.

Kelly- you always look great! I do agree with some of the others though that this would be even better with a more sweater underneath. I'm wanting to see just a tad bit more refinement here... and that would probably take this outfit up one more notch. To my eye this outfit is at about an 8 and I think it has potential to be a 9+ or 10 with just a bit of refining.
