Thought I'd post the rest of my WIWs before 2017 ends! This batch features a bunch of holiday outfits. Apologies for the poor photo quality - dirty/salty shoes means I can't take photos anywhere except in my front hall (the mirror is luckily right there) and there is very bad light there in the winter.

1-3: festive pattern mixing, worn for a day out in the city, including a couple of meals, a museum visit, and a holiday concert. The skirt is hand knit, and I really like how it mixes with the lace print jacket. With the coat I have a red and green (well, burgundy and pine) thing going on too. You'll notice that most of these outfits feature the same black riding boots even though I'd have preferred other shoes, because the weather has been super cold, and there is lots of ice, snow, and salt on the ground, so my Blondo riding boots are the best option right now other than snow boots.

4-6: xmas eve outfit. The day was mostly spent at my in-laws' house with a couple of jaunts out of the house so I wanted something comfy and soft that still looked nice. Enter this fun print jersey dress which I had forgotten I owned. I paired it with my Free People knit peplum jacket, some heat tech leggings, and a hand knit cowl. Boots were only worn out of doors (I had some warm socks underneath, actually the cat ones in photo #9.) Everything was soft and cozy!

7: Xmas day outfit. I got the holiday cat cashmere sweater as a gift (not hand knit) and it was the perfect thing to wear for a casual christmas outfit with jeans. There was a snowstorm that morning, so I'm wearing some actual snow boots here (my shearling lined LL Bean boots).

8-9: Worn today so I guess this is my NYE outfit, although really I'm back home now and planning to spend the evening in loungewear. It's WAY too cold right now to go anywhere, lol. Anyway, it's still December so I think the holiday cat sweater is still appropriate! Plus my socks match. =P

10-11: A random non-holiday work outfit from the week before christmas. You might be able to tell it was warmer that week than it is now! Printed tunic/dress, leggings, teal combat boots, and hand knit cocoon cardigan.

(ETA)12-13: another work outfit. Clearly this was before it snowed because I am wearing bootcuts. The tunic is hand knit.

Happy New Year everyone!
