WIW: Slouchy trousers, inspired by Angie

Theory sweater, F21 slouchy pants (got them for $8 in spring!), Vince Camuto studded booties. I was inspired by Angie's trouser looks, but I'm not sure I have it right. Are these too slouchy? *I* love them - and we all know that doesn't mean they look good!

Suz, these were a totally random find. It's really hard to find the right fit. I'm not sure this is it, but they are a good placeholder in the meantime!

These are not too slouchy at all Una - they are PERFECTLY slouchy! In fact, I just had a pair of trousers deliberately "slouchified" by Wonder Woman so they could look somewhat like this. Fabulous pairing with that sweater!

Yes - this is one of the advantages of having slim hips. Not everyone can pull off this fab look the way you do. You're thinking it could get better than this?

So I got three compliments on the booties today! One from an ill client I visited at home, one from a flamboyant male Nordstrom SA (DH and I walked through to have lunch there), and one from a random person in the elevator! Guess the studs are attention-grabbing!

I really, really like this outfit! I think the pants are terrific - I wonder if they might be a little too slouchy at the bottom, though? It's hard to tell in the photo. And I can't see the studs on the booties, of course, but I remember these awesome shoes from when you posted before.

As Angie says, those do look fresh. I love the shirt too. What is the fabric of the trousers? It looks like it has some structure to it. Is that a key to this fit?

This outfit is so beautiful to me; the balance created by the" grey" of the boots matching the grey of the jumper - the matching of the red in your hair to the burgundy trousers, and the black in your hair with the black belt - the way the slouchiness of the pants echoes the slouchiness of the top - the colour blocking.... IMO jeans would not work nearly as well.(BTW the pant length and degree of folding look just right).The menswear vibe reminds me faintly of old Hollywood (Katharine Hepburn) and adds a trace of covert glamour. A classic!
