Heading into SYC for the month of May so I played in my closet yesterday trying different combinations with what I have and came across this orange/white/grey Argyle cardigan – I completely forgot I had this (how pitiful is that?) so have paired it with my orange tee and grey pencil skirt. I’m wearing my grey Naot Mary-Jane pumps, gold oversized watch for jewelry and my grey faux snakeskin clutch. I like the subtle pattern mixing of the snakeskin and argyle. Although not as obvious as others, I think this outfit fits my rubric.

Classic: the pencil skirt and Mary-Jane pumps
Urban: the clutch
Retro: the cardigan
Structure: the pencil skirt
Colour: orange

Does this combination work? How are the proportions? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Cardigan: Sears (thrifted)
Tee: Anne Klein (thrifted)
Skirt: Cleo Petite (thrifted)
Clutch: Sondra Roberts (thrifted)
Watch: thrifted
Shoes: Naot
