Good morning All!
Yesterday Suz posted her version of a casual striped ensemble and it looked FAB.
I was about to re-thrift a striped top due to its too short length, but her pics made me re-think my decision.
I tend to wear jeans too often (wave to Deborah) so I finally took tags off new dark grey straight legged pant and wore them too.

I love the blue layer underneath the striped shirt. Great idea to do that. And the blue of that matches the scarf so well. Love the straight leg pants too! I love your interpretation of the look.

The top might be a good length to go with a skirt that sits a little higher on your waist. I'm on the search for shorter length tops to go with skirts. This is from Sal from Already Pretty.

Oh I like it. Looks very Parisian to me. I'd also wear that striped top with a drapey blouse that is longer and untucked.

Lyn this looks really nice. I love the grey and blue together, its a very sophisticated color combo. Proportions are good and the layering of the tops works really well.

Oooh! I LOVE this, Lyn! I actually like it much better than my version. It is more unexpected in that colour combo, and the blue shirt peeking out is so much fun! K-worthy outfit, to my eyes! And I am humbled to have been part of the inspiration!

Mn and Suz, I think Mochi started something here. From one who had very little in the way of pattered clothing pre-YLF I now have at least half a dozen striped tops in my wardrobe. Funny how we all prefer each others outfits before our own too!

Kiwichik- Ta, I can,t take the credit for the layering-saw it on Suz and had a lightbulb moment. The scarf is from Katies- are they in N.Z? and was only $10.00 on sale!
