WiW: more belting, this time elastic!

I posted a similar WiW a few weeks back, same dress with different booties and bare legs and a denim jacket. Consensus was I needed a better belt. I found this one at TJ Maxx. It is elastic. What do you think? I found it very comfortable to wear, though I still got sweaty under it (even though it was quite chilly today).

- BR dress
- AT pleather jacket
- pashmina purchased on the side of the road in NYC
- Moschino purse
- Leopard belt TJMaxx
- Me Too suede wedge booties -- I'm loving these, despite the high heel.. I can walk in them!
- patterned tights. I am thinking this may have been better with microfishnets. It's a lot of dark.

I was kind of sad today, because the temps dropped so much, and I have only been able to trot out this particular jacket a few times. And tonight I was freezing -- would have been better wearing a 3/4 length wool coat instead! Seems like we skipped too fast from no jacket needed to denim jacket to pleather/leather to wool/puffer.

I am loving the red too, and the white jacket in cooler weather gives a lovely lift to the darker colours underneath.
I find wide stretchy belts to be very handy, giving a nice line whilst super comfy to wear.

Your poses are so fun! You get extra credit for creativity. I love the white pleather jacket on you, it's a great addition to the black outfit and of course both of them work brilliantly with the red accessories. I like the patterned tights, they do not read too dark because you can see the pattern.

Those are all adorable. I agree about the tights being a bit much dark. I am looking for nude fishnets that would read as a bare leg from a distance but would look better up close then hose, which I flat out hate.

Pil -- this is my favorite shade of red. I OD'd on this color the last time it was on trend (about 12 years ago -- I remember). Then culled a bunch of red out of my wardrobe because I was so sick of it. Now I'm in love with it again. I'd been searching forever for a bag in that exact shade. The pashmina was a $4 find.

Susie-- jacket decision is on "pause." Still having car problems. Also, it's now so cold, I'm debating about adding a new puffer or wool coat instead. Temps plummeted yesterday.

Great belt! I've been looking for a comfy animal print belt ... I might need to go to TJ Maxx to check out the selection. You look great in the leather jacket and the red adds a nice touch of color.
