Thanks, Fabbers! I have to say that thanks to YLF, I’m really enjoying my closet these days. No more agonizing about what to wear which makes my mornings go so much smoother. I wish I figured this out about 15 years ago!
@Frannie: Fist bump for a fellow poncho lover Thanks!
@Caro: Thank you! Glad I’m not alone in feeling a little blase over the blazers.
@rachy: Thanks! Perhaps I need to work on my inner prepster.
@Laurie: Thanks! I snagged that AT jacket late last year. I got rid of all of my other denim jackets--this is the one I’ve been looking for all of my life. The contrast sleeves make it feel so much more me than the all denim ones--more polished and edgy.
@Angie: Thank you! I’m so glad that the ponchos pass muster because I love them. So easy to wear and so swingy and fun. Relieved to hear the blazers are current as well. I have a bunch that need wearing
@unfrumped: Thanks! I think the blazers are definitely a different vibe for me. I’m going to play with them a little more and see if I can make them look a little fresher to my eye.
@lisap: Thank you. What a nice thing to say!
@Firecracker: Thanks! It’s funny because I thought 6 felt a little Firecracker when I was getting dressed. I think it’s the arty/sparkly poncho. I could see you in something like this as well. The green poncho is new--I just finished it the other day. It was a quick crochet project that came out better than I had hoped. Yarn had aged about 10 years--time to get it into rotation! I’m trying to knit down my stash
@Karie: Thank you! Great ideas for updating the blazers. The only thing I know about -8 is where it is on the thermometer. I can’t imagine that temp. I’m cold when it’s in the 30s. Eeek!
@Suz: Thanks! Isabel is a genius. I’ve been wearing my ruana way more than I ever thought. It fits over everything! Lol. If it’s any consolation, my ankles do get a little chilly
