Lost my MIL this week. She loved fashion too, she loved Filene's!!! So I'm posting this in her honor today!
I just wish it had more fur and bling, as that's what she loved, along with blue eyeshadow to make her oceanic eyes pop even more. But it'll do, and she'd have approved!
From bottom to top...
1. Leopard print IMPO booties I've had for 4 or 5 years.
2. LOFT sateen leggings in a grey-ish purple color
3. Nearly matching (same exact purple tones but slightly ligher) asymmetrical sweater I found at Target. Not a petite so maybe a bit too long, but I like it. Comfy, cozy, swingy.
4. Camera bag with guitar strap from the Rack (MIL would've totally approved of this particular item)
5. Plaid scarf (navy, light blue, camel) from BR
6. Smile on my face remembering my mother in law, as she'd expect that
7. Puffy eyes because I'm sad she's gone
If she'd ever gotten used to the internet, she'd have been here participating years ago (I told her all about this group), and you all would've loved her too.
