Had a lovely dinner out with my man last night at our favorite restaurant. I challenged myself to wear something I don't wear often so out came this vintage 50's midi length circle skirt. I'm not a fan of midi length skirts on me because I'm petite, but I've kept this one for years and don't mind how it looks because it's so full, even if it is overly long on me (I used to wear it a lot with flip flops and a tank when I lived in Vegas because it's so flowy it was great for Vegas' hot summers).
Styled it with a vintage shrunken fit black leather moto jacket (this is actually a boy's vintage jacket from the 60s that works well as a cropped length jacket on me) and a pair of vintage high vamp suede Manolos.
I decided it needed a dramatic necklace to compliment the bold swirly pattern of the skirt so out came my vintage Peretti for Tiffany snake belt (worn as a necklace).
The final "sassy" piece was the Fortune Teller wristlet bag. I love a lot of Isabella Fiore's bags because they're so whimsical and fun.
I was apparently feeling nostalgic last night to pile on so much vintage together! It's not something I normally do but I feel like the combination of the items together felt fresh pretty and modern.
