WIW: animal prints on the brain

Thank you to all you ladies who put up with my indecisiveness and insecurities with the animal print flats K/R. I decided to go with the ballet flats because they were a little more comfy and a little more tame to me. It was the safer, less trendy decision, but ultimately I feel like I will wear these more because I am more comfortable emotionally in them. I'm rather embarrassed by my waffling back and forth and inability to make a decision.

Since I was obsessing over animal prints, I decided to wear my one animal print blouse today. ON blouse and belt, Halogen skirt, NY and Co cardigan.

I broke in the flats yesterday while running errands with the kiddos. I also tried some subtle pattern mixing with this polka dot tee from Target. Angie said to try something out of my comfort zone, and this includes two of them: animal print and pattern mixing! Yikes!!

Hope these look ok. Thanks again for all your input and for helping me overcome my fears.

You look great! Lovely blouse in #1, the print really punches the outfit up nicely. And nice print mix in #2. That one would look great with a colored blazer added :}

Thanks, Aida! A blazer would have been ok in the morning but it was in the upper 80s yesterday afternoon. I have a blue blazer that I can put on when the weather cooperates!

Love your animal print blouse it looks great with the halogen skirt & silver belt. The ballet flats look really good with the polka dot top. I was a vote for the slipper style leopard flats but after seeing this post I'm willing to eat my words.

And see? The world kept on spinning when you wore your animal print flats outside...(Just like it did the first time I ever wore Over the Knee boots). Pretty soon this will seem tame to you and you'll wonder what all the fuss was about in your head! LOL You look great!!

kiwichik, no need to eat your words! If I had been a braver soul, I would totally have kept the slipper flats.
