I love Angie's formula - never occurred to me to pair black pants/blouse with a denim jacket (I have only worn this with blazers).
#1 is what I wore (last year's Angie's pick Pleione blouse, Loft Modern skinny jeans, flats instead of Cons). #2 - trying to figure out how to adjust this formula for colder weather - with socks and oxfords. Not sure if this works. #3 - found these Pleione blouses on sale at Nordstrom. I really like them but decided to also try one size up to see if they are going to be longer and more appropriate for skinnies. #4 - trying out more cold-weather variations; this time with Loft ponte pants. I have never worked up the courage to wear these to work since they are very form-fitting.
