WIW and what I am now done with

I am so done with winter and so done with flannel...took these photos yesterday in blustery 30's before a return run to the mall. I'm posting because there was a thread last week on the length of this BR cropped sweater. Seeing these shots I agree that it is a bit long for a crop.

I am tempted to donate the sweater and shirt. Got a nice winter out of them, and am not feeling the bold colors or the flannel any more. Time for neutrals and spring sophistication!

I am happy with this cognac bucket bag. I got a pair of cognac boots at the end of the season too, and look forward to reviewing the ensembles that feature toffee/cognac. (I remembered the tomato red+ cognac for this outfit).

I think the sweater and shirt look great as styled. Are you sure you're not just tired of them because you are tired of winter? That would be my fear. Then again, I do love purging excess clothing, so if you don't feel it, you don't feel it. Nothing wrong with that.

Laurie, this outfit looks smashing on you. I love those colors with your own coloring. And the proportions are great--I really like the amount of shirttail hanging out from the sweater, plus your skinnies and mid-calf boots. I'm with Jenny--I might put away the items till next fall and see how I felt about them then. But I also understand wanting to move on, so I'm not trying to second-guess you!

Me three! At least keep the shirt. Everyone needs at least one good plaid shirt in their closet! In warm weather it can be an easy layer over a white tank and white shorts or jeans.

Yes do keep the plaid shirt!! The colors are excellent on you, the length perfect. I'm over winter too--was shivering while I wore spring blouses to work couple weeks ago because I just couldn't stand another winter outfit. But I adore my plaid flannel shirt and am popping into the fall clothes box. (Spring finally broke through and it's been mostly 50s-60s this week! I can't help myself and have been basically going sleeveless and sockless all week long.)

Oh...and you were made for cognac leather! Gorgeous boots and purse!

Great look, very cheery! I agree with the others, maybe just put the items away until next fall? I find that by the end of the season I'm sick of certain items just from repetition, but when I've culled them I regret it the next time that season rolls around. I tend to wait to purge until the beginning of the season when I pull everything out again and see if it still fits, suits my aims, and goes with other stuff. Often I am glad to see an item again after I've had some time off from it.

You look adorable. And I totally, totally get where you are coming from. I am so sick of some of my clothes now that I could scream. And we still have snow on the ground here. ARGH!!!!

If I don't still love something at the end of the season I let it go, but I tend to have fairly few things at a time and wear them over and over and over so "sick" of something takes on a whole new level of NO MORE.
Bright colors do look really great on you so I'm wondering if you might also be tired of the skinny jean, boots, longer button down under cropped sweater look?
Maybe save at least the shirt?
