WIW 4/14: Kasmira copycat!

I was utterly without inspiration this morning, so I went looking on the interwebs and found this amazing outfit at Kasmira's blog. Believe it or not, it's too cold and blustery here today for white jeans, so I substituted my blue skinnies and seized the opportunity to wear my fab new Dolce Vita black boots. Added the white belt, which I actually think makes the outfit!

Black and white dotted shirt: Foxcroft
Yellow jacket: G.E.T.
Skinnies: DKNY
Black boots: Dolce Vita via Amazon (85% off!)
Leopard bag: Brahmin via eBay
White belt: thrifted

MaryK yes I think she would be impressed. Great interpretation and I love the yellow. This is less " eclectic" than some of the outfits she has posted recently:). How great is it that inspiration is available with just a few taps on the keyboard :). I'm about to do the same myself. Have a lovely day.

Kasmira would be proud (and possibly jealous)! This is a great interpretation MaryK. I don't know why, but I never thought of hopping on the web to grab inspiration. Need to start doing that. I adore your yellow jacket - the lining is gorgeous and like your little fashion secret when you're wearing it.

I like the skinnies and those calf-height boots. I think it's a great interpretation. I can see the inspiration from the photo in your outfit, but your outfit also reflects your own personal style.

Wow, I adore this. Love how you have taken the look and made it completely your own. I agree with you about the white belt.

This is where my tiny wardrobe remains most lacking. A great complement of accessories. They really help you to nail a look.

Well Done! I agree the white belt adds something bold to the whole look. An animal belt and a red belt would also work, the red belt if you're feeling matchy with the bag and the animal if you're going for some pattern mixing. I love colored belts, just purchased a neon yellow-green one from JCrew, can't wait to build an outfit around it!

Oh I luv sifting for inspiration on the interwebs!

This is a great interpretation! I like how you turned the silhouette upside down with the volume on the jacket and sleekness in the jeans. That jacket lining is fun and your flasher pics always make me smile! You have a great waistline to show off white belts, which I personally run quickly away from. : )
