Okay, next batch of awful photos. Need to set up a new selfie site somewhere else in the house, and carve out time to take photos when DS isn't home (he likes to race in and slam the door or turn of the lights whenever he sees me doing WIW pics). Photos are mostly visual reminders for me, they are not great representation s of these outfits.

Thurs -- can hardly see, but these are new Boden Mirabelle trousers -- the polka dot ones, I lemminged Skylurker, but in olive instead of navy. Fit is great, almost identical to the LLBean trousers but with a bit more room in the calf (karen13!). Totally outside my comfort zone, pairing olive with burgundy, but with Christmas behind us it wasn't so bad. Added a neckerchief which echoes all the outfit colours and filled in the v-neck, but it felt a bit fussy.

Friday -- did not actually wear the black/white jacket (have not cut tags yet),but the only photo I got was during g my k/r try-on. Today's outfit was a bit of a pattern mix: black watch pants plus a dark floral shirt (hard to tell with the lighting, I know). Easy to wear -- could wear this almost every day if I had to, tucked or untucked.

Monday (today) -- charcoal turtleneck plus plaid flares. I get a retro 70s vibe from this, makes me wish for some platform shoes! I do like wearing an all-neutral outfit, and outdoor accessories in bright colours helped spice this up for most of the day.

So, clearly this has become a wool trouser capsule challenge. SO much better than jeans in cold weather!
