That is a great bag. I didn't know Gaultier did a collaboration with them.
Seriously a good choice.

The new bag is stunning, you'll get a lot of wear out of it, and I'm overcome by the sight of that gorgeous scarf. These are your best colors and I look forward to seeing your fab outfits incorporating them.

Sorry for the delayed response, been down with the flue. The wallet's rather well-worn from rattling around in my bags, I'm afraid. I could have chosen a more robust color, but well...I declined to purchase the matching pen for $150, proving that I hadn't completely lost my mind.

The handbag is stunning! Amazing upgrade. You wear a LOT of colors that bright orange coordinates with so even though it's an unusual choice, I can see you getting tons of mileage from it.
I am a huge fan of colorful bags. I get way more use from them than I do black bags, and they make me far happier.
Totally digging the scarf too. The pattern is amazing.

I'll make a small confession: I recently added 2 Hermes scarves - secondhand, in great condition from a reputable reseller, and at a price that is expensive for a scarf but quite reasonable for that brand - to my wardrobe. I love silk scarves but I'm picky about texture, and hopefully I can keep these in great shape for a long time.
Wearing one in my photo here, Voiles de Lumiere. The other one is Eperon D'or in royal blue and emerald green with gold accents.
(And I've been enjoying MaiTai's blog for years-I think the scarf rings she sells are more than I want to pay, but I do want to get some through more budget friendly sources. I also read that visiting a tack shop to get a miniature bit and snaffle looks quite similar but is way cheaper than the Hermes version.)

Kari, I thought that was a Hermes! Beautiful. Do you follow Mai Tai's Picture Book? ( not to sound like a broken record, but it is so visually appealing and full of great tips.) I guess I have to put a Hermes scarf on my bucket list...other people have experiences on theirs but mine is acquisitions! But it's only a scarf and Cape Cod watch, and a Chanel bag. Not the flap one, too small, but a quilted tote.

I'm so glad I caught this thread ... the bag, wallet and scarf are very beautiful.

Kari, you look gorgeous in your scarf! I have one too, but never wear it unfortunately. Will probably sell it, but I love it for a reminder of my horsey days. Re. snaffles, the smallest they make is for minis, and even still they're ~3.5 inch bit plus the snaffle rings.

Ann, that's beautiful. Definitely a good reminder! (My mom owned and showed horses while she was growing up, too.)

Retailgirl-yes! I've read and admired Maitai's blog for years. She has such elegant style. I
Like how she consistently lets her accessories take center stage.
