I've been working on a legging/tunic capsule. I really like leggings on the weekend for the comfort factor but I never seem to have quite the right tops to wear with them. Also, sometimes leggings aren't quite as comfortable as I'd like. I think I've finally found combinations of comfortable leggings with tops that are long enough and don't stick to the leggings. I expect to wear similar outfits to #1 on many upcoming weekends.
#1 - Patterned leggings with asymmetric tunic. The leggings are blue, not black. I wore this on a casual weekend day to see a movie with friends (A Bad Mom's Christmas - not nearly as good as the first one).
#2 - New black knit blazer with dress.
#3 - Same knit blazer with blouse and burgundy trousers. These pants are not this dark in real life.
#4 - New plaid shirt dress. This is another outfit that looked better IRL. The tights aren't quite so opaque and the boots have a little heel.
