WIW - Fri. inspiration, take II

I decided to pull out the orphan silk tank. Then I remembered the cargo shorts I'd worn earlier in the week (I like to wear most things twice before wash). Two birds with one stone. Then it occurred to me, this is the inspiration outfit I was flip flopping last night, but done in a version I can actually wear right now in the heat! http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....on-reality
(I didn't sleep well last night so maybe my subconscious got me dressed this morning). Nothing big planned but a trip to the grocery if the BF can pick me up on his lunch hour.

You look good head to toe. I like how you interpreted the look. I can see this look with your cargo skinnies too. I remember you were one of the people who inspired me to wear mine. Then I loved them to death and now they are worn out

My only concern here is that the top looks dressy and the rest looks very casual and kind of boho. I'm not sure if the mix of dressy and casual is working for me here but the overall look is very nice.

Funny, I did the army skinnies last night! I hear you on the 'mix' here. It's more like utility meets silk femininity. Maybe that's why the dang top is an orphan in the first place lol.
I think I want overall more hardness and less soft in my look in general lately. More buckles and studs, less ruffles and bows. But always a mix of the two.
