WIW - Dress over jeans, cobalt, graphic tee

It's still very warm for fall here (70's F, 21C). In one sense it's kind of nice. My two older boys played in a soccer tournament last weekend and the weather was beautiful - sunny, no wind, warm but not hot. We've played in this tournament in past years and the weather has been absolutely miserable - windy and 40F degrees (4 C).

#1 - Denim dress over white jeans. This is a new silhouette for me. I liked it and will wear it again.

#2/3 - Cobalt and black pants. Pants have tiny white dots that don't photograph. I added pic of my jacket. I don't usually photograph my coats/jackets as I don't wear them for long - just long enough to get into the office.

#4 - Casual weekend outfit of purple jeans and grey t-shirt. Boots are new this season and I'm liking the higher shaft.

Super Sara, I am not keen of dress over pants but I like this denim dress over white jeans, nice casual look. My favorite is cobalt and black pants, I love this color combo, it looks great on you.

You look great! My favorites are #3 (& 2) and #4. #1 is something that is new for me too and I need to get used to it

I like all of these Sara.

I like 1 on you especially with the fab shoes.

2 is a slam dunk - you do suit high contrast and I really like this silhouette.

And 4 has a rocker edge which is super fun for the weekend.

Sara, you manage to look fab in practically anything. By the way, there is something gamine-like and Audrey Hepburn-ish over your short black pants and small black shoes in #2 and #3. You look great in this style!

Great outfits. I suspect the denim dress would look best when worn this way if it were an inch or two shorter, but I have the same challenge and do not like to have to commit to tunic length or long enough to wear as a dress without leggings or pants under it. The cobalt and black looks wonderful on you.

You always look great in cobalt and I like the leather jacket (even if briefly worn) with it too. I like the dress with jeans but want to try a belt with it and roll up the sleeves a bit - sorry for treating you like a paper doll !

Shevia - The dress came with a fabric belt that I forgot about. It probably would have helped the outfit and belting it might have shortened it an inch or two like Joy suggests. I need to look for that belt for the next time I try this combo.

Great looks (as always)! You always look perfect for the casual occasion in your daily life. I love you in cobalt. And the dress pants combo looks good too, but I’d like to see it belted to compare
