Sorry the photos are kinda bad. I didn't realize the fluffy grass eats up my feet in the first pics, so I look even shorter, if that's possible.

This was last Thursday. I matched my favorite new jeans with my favorite new boots and a chiffon floaty top in fall colors.

Do you prefer untucked (1-2) or tucked (3)? Please excuse no belt, it was a whim of the moment to see what it looked like tucked. On 4-5 we moved to firmer ground to show the boots. In 6-7 you can see my beetle earrings which really creeped out a lady at the meeting I went to. She couldn't stop talking about them. I think they are quite well-behaved beetles, and not very creepy a'tall. I don't really like it when people talk about my flair. ;~)

This is my favorite thing I've seen you post Julie. The blouse is very beautiful and I like the matching you have going on with your boots and earrings. Your earrings look like they are enameled right? I used to have these articulated enameled fish earrings - so fun!

Untucked, you all say? I am a bit shocked. Both hubs and I prefer the tucked photo. Hmmm. I cannot ignore your wisdom. I must say untucked was very free and easy feeling. But tucked with a belt still beckons, so I'll try that next time and post photos for comparison. It's all fun, in any case!

Glad the beetles got your approval as well. I have named them John and Paul. ha ha

I like untucked better too - the tucked version seems to draw a line right in the middle of you, whereas the untucked has better proportions to my eye.

You have to wear those earrings to the meetup!

Una, thanks for explaining the preference for untucked. I can see what you mean, but I am still partial to the tuck - makes my legs seem longer. I will wear the beetles to the meet-up! Fab idea.

Those earrings are brilliant! I love them with the blouse...as if the garden is so full of life it's spilling over and up! This is a great outfit, and like most, I prefer the blouse untucked. You look terrific.
