My first challenge for 2023 was to identify garments 1 year or older and worn <10 times in 2022, then see if I couldn’t get them in circulation. I’ve identified 5 tops that fit this category and I’ve managed to wear 2 of them - and a 3rd today.

The Uniqlo +J is a beautifully fabricated navy poplin button down with a mandarin collar and pleated tuxedo front. I picked it up deep discount ($19. CAD) early in 2022. Wore it 6 times last year, notably on occasions when I was travelling and wanted something dressier than my everyday. The navy colour positively glows in some light conditions.

My second challenge is to wear pants that aren’t jeans. The Liverpool stretch pants are the same fabrication as most yoga pants, and more comfortable than jeans, so why not?

The third challenge is to bring out an oldie but goodie, a 9 yo LePliage, sourced and bought with the help of the YLF sisterhood shortly after I joined up.

#1 WIW to run to the post office. #2 what I’m wearing at home. All garments and the bag are navy. Footwear is black.

Thanks for looking!
